This is a basic, plain language description and information about Human Energy Fields. Most people have heard of Auras and Chakras. There are other Life Energy Fields, with information on the new Golden Soul, the Core Star, Hara Line, Soul Seat and Individuation Point which are essential for life, the Life Energy Fields will only be touched on briefly in the Advanced Healing section. Humans are a Body, Mind and Soul, or Spiritual Being; and all these parts are run by energy fields. We have an Integrated Energy Field often described as The Aura. This information is considered essential reading as it will give detailed information and insights that may differ in detail from what some of you have learned.

The Integrated Energy Field known as the Aura has a number of layers that not only surround us but also permeate our bodies and cells. The different layers or fields within our Auras each have different purposes. To understand the importance of the Aura, our Mind is made up of mainly two parts our Brain the conscious part, which in computer terms, could be described as "The Hardware" and parts of our Aura which would be equivalent of the "Software", they both work together. The Aura also has a memory of every thing that has ever happened to us, not just in this life. It is also the most important part of our immune system. The correct function is vital for good health and well being. Disturbances of these Integrated Energy Fields and our Internal Energy Fields are a precursor to all disease, illness and problems with our mental and physical well being.

Surrounding the physical body is the unseen body, the aura. Composed of layers of energy. The physical self first has an energy-layer double, called the etheric body. Health begins here, and this is where dis-ease manifests first. The emotional/ astral body is the next aura layer, the feeling level, your connection between body and mind. The mental body, the next layer beyond the emotional, has two aura levels, the lower and the higher mental, or rational and intuitive thought. The spiritual body’s three aura levels, the lower, middle, and higher, are a person’s spirit or soul, your connection with the god/ goddess and the universe. A persons aura is composed of the four energy bodies, the physical/etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual, which are in turn seven layers or levels. A “silver cord” of life energy connects the unseen bodies and connects a person to
Be-in and non- Be-in (life to Death) A persons energy aura is an electrical force field, the easily felt but usually unseen energy the envelopes the earthly physical body. It contains seven minor layers or energy rings levels, and these make up the four bodies, Each of the aura layers has in turn seven levels of its own for a total of forty-nine levels. Next is the seven major chakras or energy wheel located in the etheric double, the physical layer of the aura. Not sure exactly how many chakras we have, more are being discovered everyday we have 77 for sure. The seven major ones chakra's correspond to the seven major aura layers.

The first ring reveals your state of health (etheric double), the second (astral or emotional body) your emotions, the third your intellectual makeup, the fourth your higher mind (both together are the mental body) the fifth your spirit, or the link between the individual and the cosmos( spiritual body), and the sixth and seventh reveal cosmic aspects (also the spiritual body).

If we were able to see the chakras (as many do) we would observe a wheel of energy continuously revolving or rotating. Clairvoyants perceive chakras as colorful wheels or flowers with a hub in the center. The chakras begin at the base of the spine and finish over the top of the head. Though fixed in the central spinal column they are located on both the front and back of the body, and work through it.
Each chakra vibrates and rotates at different speeds. The root or first chakra rotates at the slowest speed, the crown or seventh chakra at the highest. Each chakra is stimulated by its own and complimentary color, and a range of gemstones for specific uses. The chakra colors are of the rainbow; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The size and brightness of the wheels vary with individual development, physical condition, energy levels, disease, or stress.
If the chakras are not balanced, or if the energies are blocked, the basic life force will be slowed down.
The individual may feel listless, tired, out of sorts, or depressed. Not only will physical bodily functions be affected so diseases may manifest, but the thought processes and the mind may also be affected. A negative attitude, fear, doubt, etc. may preoccupy the individual.
A constant balance between the chakras promotes health and a sense of well being. If the chakras are opened to much, a person could literally short circuit themselves with too much universal energy going through the body.
If the chakras are closed, this does not allow for the universal energy to flow through them properly which may also lead to dis-ease.
Most of us react to unpleasant experiences by blocking our feeling and stopping a great deal of our natural energy flow. This affects the maturation and development of the chakras. Whenever a person blocks whatever experience he is having, he in turn blocks his chakras, which eventually become disfigured. When the chakras are functioning normally, each will be 'open', spinning clockwise to metabolize the particular energies needed from the universal energy field.
As already mentioned any 'imbalances' that exist within any chakra may have profound effects upon either our physical or emotional bodies. We are able to use our quartz crystals and gemstones to re-balance all our chakra centers and once the chakra has been properly balanced then our body will gradually return to normal.
The reason why crystals and gemstones are wonderful and powerful healing tools are because of what science calls its piezoelectric effect. (You can see this effect in the modern quartz watches). Crystals and gemstones respond to the electricity that is coursing through our body, and if the energy is sluggish, the constant electrical vibrations of the stones will help to harmonize, balance, and stimulate these energies.

Chakras are our energy centers. They are the openings for life energy to flow into and out of our aura. Their function is to vitalize the physical body and to bring about the development of our self-consciousness. They are associated with our physical, mental and emotional interactions.

Chakras have been depicted as a funnel of sorts with smaller funnels within the funnel. They are also often referred to as looking like lotus flowers. I have intuitively viewed the intake of individual chakras as appearing similar to the blades of a fan or windmill in circular motion.

Introducing the Seven Major Chakras
Next we will be focusing on each individual chakra. We will talk about the colors associated with each chakra, learn the physical location of them, explore what purposes they serve. The 7 major Internal Energy Fields control the function of all our organs and every thing else in our physical bodies
The Base or Root Chakra is associated with the color red. This chakra is the grounding force that allows us to connect to the earth energies and empower our beings. Focusing one's attention on the color of a cherry popsicle or a juicy red apple can help bring our energetic body "down to earth" and in alignment with our physical body when we find ourselves energetically fleeting or in other words~"spacing off."

The Sacral Chakra is associated with the color orange or red~orange. I usually visualize the Sunkist orange that has been dyed to attract the produce buyer, or the orange red of an evening sunset when I'm focusing on spinning my second chakra. This chakra often offers us the opportunity to lessen our "control issues" and find a balance in our lives, teaching us to recognize that acceptance and rejection are not the only options in our relationships. The process of making changes in our life stream through our personal choices is a product of second chakra energy. A well-functioning second chakra helps one to maintain a healthy yin-yang existence.

Chakra Two ~ Association
Color ~ orange
Sanskrit Name ~ Swadhisthana
Physical Location ~ lower abdomen to the navel

The Solar Plexus Chakra is associated with the color yellow. This is the area which defines our "self-esteem". The personality that develops during puberty is housed in this chakra~otherwise known as the "EGO". Anyone experiencing dysfunction of the third chakra is having difficulty obtaining or maintaining his/her own "personal power". This intuitive chakra is where we get our "gut instincts" that signal us to do or not to do something. Strong self-esteem is a required for developing intuitive skills.

Chakra Three ~ Associations
Color ~- yellow
Sanskrit Name ~ Manipura
Physical Location ~ solar plexus

The Heart Chakra is associated with the color green or the color pink. This love center of our human energy system is often the focus in bringing about a healing. Thus, the words "Love Heals All" have great truth. Hurtful situations that can effect our emotional being are divorce or separation, grief through death, emotional abuse, abandonment, adultery. All of these are wounding to the heart chakra. Physical illnesses brought about by heartbreak require that an emotional healing occur along with the physical healing. Learning to love yourself is a powerful first step in securing a healthy fourth chakra. The "wounded child" resides in the heart chakra.

Chakra Four ~ Associations
Color ~ Green ~ Pink
Sanskrit Name ~ Anahata

The Throat Chakra is associated with the color sky blue. This chakra is our will center. The healthfulness of the fifth chakra is in relation to how honestly one expresses himself/herself. Lying violates the body and spirit . We speak our choices with our voices (throats). All choices we make in our lives have consequences on an energetic level. Even choosing not to make a choice such as in repressing our anger (not speaking out) may manifest into laryngitis. We have all experienced that "lump in our throats" when we are at a crossroad of not knowing how to speak the right words in any given situation, perhaps even stuffing our own emotions. A challenge of the throat chakra is to express ourselves in the most truthful manner. Also to receive and assimilate information. Seek only the truth.

Chakra Five ~ Associations

Area of Body ~throat, thyroid, mouth, teeth, gums, esophagus

The Brow Chakra is associated with the color indigo. It is also often referred to as the third eye or the mind center. It is our avenue to wisdom - learning from our experiences and putting them in perspective. Our ability to separate reality from fantasy or delusions is in connection with the healthfulness of this chakra. Achieving the art of detachment beyond "small mindedness" is accomplished through developing impersonal intuitive reasoning. It is through an open brow chakra that visual images are received.

Chakra Six ~ Associations
Color ~ Indigo
Sanskrit Name ~ Ajna
Physical Location ~ center of the forehead

Area of Body~brain, neurological system, eyes, ears, nose, pituitary, pineal glands

The Crown Chakra is associated with the color violet or white. We use the seventh chakra as a tool to communicate with our spiritual nature. It is through this vortex that the life force is dispersed from the universe into the lower 6 chakras. It has been referred to as our "GOD SOURCE" - but this terminology might be confusing to anyone who equates God with religious dogma, because of this I choose to call it a spiritual connection or communicator. This chakra is often pictured as a lotus flower opening to allow spiritual awakening in an individual. The crown chakra could also be considered the well intuitive knowing is drawn from.

Chakra Seven ~Associations
Color ~ violet, white
Sanskrit Name ~ Sahasrara

Area of Body ~crown top center of the head

Color Therapy
By Paula Ford

Color therapy, also known as chromatherapy, is based on the premise that certain colors are infused with healing energies. The therapy uses the seven colors of the rainbow to promote balance and healing in the mind and body.
Origins

Color therapy is rooted in Ayurveda, an ancient form of medicine practiced in India for thousands of years. Ayurveda is based on the idea that every individual contains the five basic elements of the universe: earth, water, air, fire, and ether (space). These elements are present in specific proportions unique to an individual's personality and constitution. When these elements are thrown out of balance through unhealthy living habits or outside forces, illness results. Ayurvedic medicine uses the energies inherent in the colors of the spectrum to restore this balance.

Color therapy was also used in ancient Egypt and China. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), each organ is associated with a color. In qigong, healing sounds are also associated with a color, which in turn corresponds to a specific organ and emotion.
Benefits

Each of the seven colors of the spectrum are associated with specific healing properties.

Violet
Violet promotes enlightenment, revelation, and spiritual awakening. Holistic healthcare providers use violet to soothe organs, relax muscles, and calm the nervous system.

Indigo
Indigo is also sedative and calming. It is said to promote intuition. Indigo may be useful in controlling bleeding and abscesses.
Blue

Blue
Bluepromotes communication and knowledge. It eliminates toxins, and is used to treat liver disorders and jaundice.
Green

Green
Because it is located in the middle of the color spectrum, green is associated with balance. Green is calming, and is used by Ayurvedic practitioners to promote healing of ulcers. It is said to have antiseptic, germicide, and antibacterial properties and is sometimes used by holistic color therapists to treat bacterial infections.

Yellow
Yellow is a sensory stimulant associated with wisdom and clarity. Yellow is thought to have decongestant and antibacterial properties, and is useful in stimulating both the digestive system and the lymphatic system.

Orange
Orange promotes pleasure, enthusiasm, and sexual stimulation. Ayurvedic practitioners believe it has antibacterial properties and may be useful in easing digestive system discomforts (e.g., flatulence, cramps).

Red
Red promotes energy, empowerment, and stimulation. Physically, it is thought to improve circulation and stimulate red blood cell production
